In the modern world of industry and commerce, we all expect and require our systems to work. Many organisations dedicate huge resources to ensuring that is the case. This is the same for all electronic systems that we use such as Photocopiers, Computers, Printers and other Multifunctional devices.

At Copier & Technology Recycling Ltd, we believe that the same efforts and resources should be employed at the end of that system’s life.

It is our belief that we all have a responsibility to ensure that when we look to ever newer and more advanced technologies, the old devices are dealt with in the most advantageous manner, with the same regard to efficiencies as when we bought them, and with as little impact on the environment as possible.

Compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) that came into force in the U.K. in January 2007 is paramount. But at Copier & Technology Recycling Ltd, we regard that as the minimum requirement when addressing the issue of what to do with used electrical devices. It is in the spirit of the law and the logic behind the legislation that we are equally interested.

By navigating this site, you will discover the many ways that we seek to achieve this, whether by finding second users in this country, in Europe or further afield, dismantling the component parts for reuse, or working with our partners to salvage the raw materials.
